Cloud Nine movies owner and kollywood producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri tied the knot with Anusha in Madurai on wednesday. Big guns of tamil and south indian film industry attended the ceremony and blessed the couple. Kollywood actors who graced the function included Kamal Haasan, Ajith, Suriya, Madhavan, Karthi, Vadivelu, Srikanth, Siva, Tamil Film Producers Council president Rama Narayanan, M N Rajam and Thiyagu.The reception was also attended by political big shots from tamilnadu and north india. Those who attended the reception included Union Ministers Praful Patel and G K Vasan, Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala, Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, Deputy Chief Minister M K Stalin, Kalanithi Maran, M A M Ramaswamy and A C Muthiah. There were rumours that UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi would attend the function. However it proved to be just a media hype.
