Rahman to perform in Oslo, Norway  [Friday, November 19, 2010]

Ace kollywood music director A R Rahman has been chosen to perform at the 17th Annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert on December 11. The concert will be held in Oslo in Norway. The performers also include  Barry Manilow, Jamiroquai, India.Arie, Florence + The Machine, Herbie Hancock, Robyn, Elvis Costello and Colbie Caillat. The function will be broadcasted live all over the world. It has been a decade of fame for the music director who has tirelessly churned out new scores since the past three decades. True that he was criticized for his score for the Common Wealth games. But the ace musician has overcome it all with his magical notes. He has won the international critical acclaim award for the flick 127 hours in which he teamed up with Danny Boyle after the much accalimed Slum Dog millionaire. Mr Rahman is currently busy with his Jai Ho world tour which was interrupted due to an accident in Detroit in march.
