Maduravoyal police has opposed an anticipatory bail petition filed by actress Vanitha in a criminal case that is filed against her. She has been charged of abusing her father and planning an attack on him. “Since the case is in the preliminary stage, she may threaten witnesses if given bail", said inspector Tamilvanan. The police said that the bail petition should be rejected as there were more witnesses to be examined. Vanitha and her father has been filing cases each other.  Vijayakumar has alleged that his daughter and son in law has plotted against him. Vanith on the other hand has filed a suit stating that her family and relatives engaged in conspiracy against her for obtaining her property.
