The Madras High Court issued a notice to director Shankar and the producers of Sun pictures for violation of copyrights during the making of Endhiran. The notice was issued by Justice S Rajeshwaran based on a complaint filed by popular novelist Arnica Nasser. Nasser claimed that the story of Endhiran was written by him and the same was published in the tamil journal Malai Mathi. He also claimed that he had explained in detail the making of the robot. The author in his petition pleaded to issue an injunction order directing the producers to submit the account statements of the flick.Arnica Nasser is the second in the row who has come up with an allegation that Endhiran story is a version of their written work.
