Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi donated Rs 10 lakh to National Film Development Corporation for producing a film on Dr B R Ambedkar. The cheque for the same was presented to National Film Development Corporation Deputy General Manager D Ramakrishnan in Chennai. The flick has Mollywood star Mammotty doning the lead. The decision to make the donation was taken after the flick was screened in the state.
