Veteran film actress Saroja Devi will be honoured by the Karnataka government with the NTR National Film Award. Saroja Devi started her film career acting as the female lead of NTR in the flick Panduranga Mahatmyam. The flick was directed by K Kameswara Rao. Later, the actress was roped into tamil flicks by M G Ramachandran. Her debut was through the flick Nadodi Mannan. Ever since then, the actress has donned pivotal roles in more than 150 flicks. She is also very lively in the current flicks as well. The NTR award will include a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh, a memento, and citation.
