Kollywood star Karthika has stunned ace Hollywood director Danny Boyle by her performance in Makaramanju. Makaramanju stars ace cinematograper Santhosh Sivan. He donnes the role of Raja Ravivarma, the ace painter. The whole story is based on the relationship between Ravivarma and his model Anjali Bhai. Karthika dons the role of Anjali BHai in the film. The whole flick is set on a traditional background. Danny Boyle appreciated the team and all the actors. He said that he was very much impressed with the performance of Karthika.
