Ace kollywood singer Vani Jayaram was felicitated on friday for her outstanding contributions to indian music. She was honoured at the annual function organised by Lakshman Shruthi music troupe. The ace singer felicitated noted Carnatic musicians Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and Veena exponent Ravikiran at the function. Vani has sung more than thousand songs in various languages including hindi, kannnda, malayalam, telugu, konkini and tamil.
