Kollywood actors Vjay and Nayantara has bagged the prestigious Asianer Film awards for the year 2010. Nayanatara has won the best actress award for her performance in Bodyguard. Vijay was chosen as the most popular tamil hero. The best actor award goes to Mammotty for his performance in Pranchiyettan and the Saint and Kutty Shranku. Ace mollywood actor Mohanlal will be honoured with the 'Golden Star Award' for his contribution to malayalam film industry. The award for the best male and female singers have been bagged by Hariharan and Shreya Goshal respectively. The awards will be distributed in Cochin on Jauary 9.
