Kollywood actress Shobana who became popular through flicks like 'Sillinu Oru Kadhal' , 'Meendum meendum sirippu' etc committed suicide on monday. The actress was found hanging from the ceiling of her apartment in Kotturpuram Housing Board Colony. Sources close to her family said that she was ailing from Chikungunya and stomach pain for long. However police personnel are investigating on the causes of her death. The actress had just completed two projects 'Illaignan' and 'Siruthai' which were to hit the screens on friday. Tamil Channel condoles the death of the actress together with her kith and kin.
