Kollywood star Karthi had a tough day on tuesday when protesters gathered outside his residence protesting against the name he of his character in Siruthai. He is addressed as 'Rocket Raja' in the flick. The protesters belonging to the Nadar community was agitating on the grounds that one of their prominent leaders is also addressed by the same name. However, the Rocket Raja in Siruthai happens to be a pick pocketer. The protesters demanded that the name of the character should be changed. However, sources close to the actor has condemned the protest as the flick has not even hit the screens. The actor later requested for police protection and the protesters were arrested and cleared off the place. Siruthai, which will be a laugh riot according to sources, will hit the screens on friday.
