Veteran kollywood music director Illayraja, Sahithya Academy Award winner Jayakanthan and ace danseuse Padma Subramaniam will be honoured by the Tamil Nadu government on monday. Illayaraja will be honoured with the award instituted in memory of the queen of carnatic music, M S Subbulakshmi. Jayakanthan and Padma Subramaniam will be honoured with the Barathi abd Balasaraswathi award respectively. The award includes a memento, a citiation and bursary for Rs 1 lakh rupees.
