Karthi upset about Siruthai [Thursday, January 20, 2011]
Kollywood actor Karthi visited Chennai city police commissioner T Rajendran and requested him to take strict action against those involved in selling and promoting pirated DVD's of his latest flick, Siruthai. Speaking to the media after the meeting, he said that the police are actively raiding for prirated DVD's. He thanked them for their corporaion. “Siruthai was made on a huge budget. Not just ‘Siruthai’, each and every film is being produced by spending a lot of money.It is unfair to release pirated CDs of new films without any permission. DVDs and CDs of latest movies are available freely all over. They are being sold even in front of temples.Such persons should be dealt with iron hand.", the actor was quoted as saying.
