The Indian postal department will release a postal stamp in honour of yesteryear actress 'Nadigaiyar Thilagam' Savithri on February 13. The function will be held at Hotel Imperial in New Delhi on February 13. The commemorative stamps in honour of five leading actresses of yester year’s Hindi cinema namely, Nutan, Meena Kumari, Devika Rani, Kannan Devi and Leela Naidu will be released as well. The actress's daughter Vijaya Chamundeswari and other family members from Chennai will attend the event.
