Ace music director A R Rahman was extremly grieved at the death of Malaysia Vasudevan. Condoling the death of Vasudevan Rahman said , "You were one of the few who believed in me and gave me my first break as a music producer for the album Disco Disco in 1987". The duo had worked together in a number of popular flicks.
