The top political parties in the state are all set to garner support from kollywood superstars. The DMK candidate contesting from Thousand Lights constituency, Hassan Mohammad Jinnah, met superstar Rajanikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan and requested their support for his candidature. Rajanikanth welcomed the candidate with a silk shawl and wished him all luck for the elections. He has however not indicated any intention to campaign. The candidate also met Kamal Hassan who welcomed him and wished him good luck. Kamal has also not come out with any intentions of campaigning. He however expressed joy that youth are volunteering to take up responsible positions in the state.
