The Vaanam team came together for the release of the music album of the movie which was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The album was released by Vetri Maaran and was received by STR, Anushkha, Yuvan, Sonia Aggarwal and director Krish. Speaking on the occassion, Anushka said that the team was loaded with fresh ideas and that she never felt that she was acting in the remake of Vedam. STR expressed delight that some of the songs are chartbusters already.  “The output is chartbusters whenever I work with Yuvan. This is proved once again in ‘Vaanam’. Even we too don’t know the exact reason. But all that I can say is I share a magic with Yuvan.”, the actor said.
