Just after actress Divya's issues with Kannada Producer came into limelight, actress Pooja Gandhi has filed a suit against producer-director Shivaganapathy alleging that he has not paid the amount due to her. She also demanded to stay the release of the film which is to hit the screens on March 25.

In her petition the actress alleged that the producer did not pay her the amount even after completion of the project. Sources report that the producer is now attempting to settle the matter outside the court. “Since filming a song on Ranganathan Street is no easy task, we rehearshed the sequence many a time at AVM Studios for three days. Thanks to all, we managed to achieve what we conceived, on the busy street,” , the actress said. The Kannada Film Producers' Association had asked Pooja Gandhi to apologise for alleging that the of her film ‘Nee Illade’ owed her Rs four lakh. This prompted her to file the suit.
