Kollywood stars Suriya and Shruthi Hassan were at IIT-M recently for the shooting of '7 Am Arivu'. The team had recently made news by shooting for ten minutes at the busy Ranganathan Street. Director A R Murugadoss was leading the team in IIT-M.

Most of the shots were taken in midnight without disturbing the routine of the students.Sources report that the shooting is in its final stages. The flick is produced by Udhayanishi Stalin of Red Giant movies. The music of the flick is scored by Harris Jayaraj.
