Veteran kollywood actor turned politican Karthik said that his party, AKila India Naadalum Makkal Katchi will support thr ruling DMK in the upcoming Assemble elections in Tamil Nadu. The party will campaign for DMK in all states except 21 where the party plans to contest its own cadres.

“Because we don’t want the AIADMK to come to power. DMK supremo M Karunanidhi is a gentleman. And we want to support his party and its candidates.This is a democratic country. Don’t we have right to contest the elections?I will make a whirlwind tour of the State and meet the people. I will expose the real face of the AIADMK in a decent manner.", the actor said at a public meeting. Karthik and his party cadres are all set to start of the official campaign from the first of April.
