Kollywood director S A Chandrasekhar is facing stiff opposition to his just released flick Sattapadi Kuttram. A number of organizations have filed an appeal in the court to revoke the censor certificate issued for the movie. All of them opined that the flick will influence the moral sentiment of the public and distort the code of conduct.

While some of the petitioners opined that the flick was attacking DMK, others said that the flick launched attacks on Hindu Swamijis. The recent complaints against the flick also included that by Congress MLA K Selvaperunthagai. He sent a complaint to the Chief Election Commissioner of Tamil Nadu to review and ensure whether any party or leader insulted in the film.
