Kollywood superstar Rajanikanth was seen cheering the Indian team at the World Cup finals at Wankhade Stadium in Mumbai. The actor along with his two daughters came to see the match. He was seen gelling with Amir Khan, Kiran Rao, Neeta Ambani etc.

The game clearly influenced Rajani as he was seen a bit low when the Lankan team was scoring their heart full during the power play. He was actively encouraging the team through out the match. Along with Rajanikanth, top politicians like Kapil Sibal, Sharad Pawar, Nitin Gadkari, Lankan President Rajapakshe, Indian counterpart Pratibha Patel, Vijay Mallya etc  and his bollywood counterparts Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Preity Sinha etc were also there to cheer the team.
