A police complaint was filed against kollywood music composer James Vasanthan for attacking Venu Prasad, a resident of Palavakkam where the music director is constructing a house. Reports say that Venu Prasad and his wife had complained that the housing construction was causing health issues for them. The couple were also initiating a legal notice against the music director.

Sources reported that a discussion in this regard between the music director and Venu Prasad later gave way to manhandling. A compalint was lodged with the police by Radha Venu Prasad that the composer assaulted her and her husband. “He had also assaulted me following which I had to be admitted to a hospital,” , the lady reported. However James Vasanthan said that this was a framed up incident. James Vasanthan said Radha, using her influence, had even stopped construction of his house by making authorities to issue a stop-construction notice. “I didn’t assault her,” he said.
