Kollywood super star Rajanikanth cancelled his plans to attend the audio launch of tamil version of telugu flick Magadheera.The flick has Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles. The audio launch of the tamil version was to be launched at a function in Chennai today.

Rajani was supposed to share the dias with Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan Teja, Allu Arjun, and other veteran personalities of tamil and telugu film industry. It was then that the superstar decided to cancel the programme. Sources close to the actor reported that the recent election related controversies has made the actor to cancel the programme. The actor has decided to avoid the sharp questions of the media which he would have to face had he attended the audio launch function.
