Court issues summons to Prithviraj, Meera Jasmine [Wednesday, April 20, 2011]
The Calicut magistrate court has issued a summons to actors Prithviraj, and Meera Jasmine. The summons have directed the actors to appear before the court on May 16.
The petition related to the same was filed by Karimbil Films partner K Mohandas. Mohandas alleged that Prithviraj and Meera had received Rs five lakh each as advance for acting in a proposed Malayalam film, ‘Swapnamalika’ four years ago. The actors however failed to attend the shooting and there by breached the contract.
