Vikram starrer Deiva Thirumagan that was to hit the screens soon has faced stiff opposition from Devar community. They have asked the team to change the title of the flick as it hurts their sentiments. “Using his name as a movie’s title would hurt the sentiments of people of our community. They would not accept this. So the title should be changed with immediate effect. Protests will be staged in front of theatres screening ‘Deiva Thirumgan’ if the movie’s title is not changed. The makers of the film should understand our feelings.", Shanmugaiah was quoted as saying. The team is yet to respond to this.
