Ace kollywood actor Vijay's forthcoming flick Velayudham will hit the screens only in late August according to sources. The team had earlier announced that they will be ready for a release in the last week of June on Vijay's birthday. “Though a major part of the film has been shot, some important scenes and songs are yet to be picturised. So it will take time at least till June to complete the shooting. Post production will take one more month,” , said close sources.

The flick is produced by Ascar M Ravichandran and directed by Jayam M Raja. Vijay will don the role of a milkm man in the flick. Genelia and Hansika Motwani will don the female lead in the flick.
