After a never expected hit back at the Assembly polls, DMK's star campaigner Vadivelu faced the media on saturday. Speaking to them he said that he respects the verdict of the people. “I respect people’s verdict. They wanted a change and hence voted for Amma.", the actor said.

On the unexpected poll results favouring Vijayakanth, he was of the opinion that it was mainly because of AIADMK support. “Ever since the election results were announced, Vijayakanth’s partymen have been doing rounds near my house, searching me.
