Sources reported that Kamal has sorted out a month's long confusion over his next project 'Viswaroopam". It was initially decided that the project will be directed by Selvaraghavan. Close sources now report that the director himself will wield the megaphone for Viswaroopam.

Sources also reported that the actor himself shall script the flick and score the lyrics. The project will be made at a whopping budget of Rs 150 crores. "Since it may take some time for Selva to complete his current film ‘Irandam Ulagam’, which has Dhanush and Richa Gangopadhyay in lead roles, he has opted out of the project and Kamal has replaced him.", sources were quoted as saying. The month long shooting of pivotal scenes of the flick will be shot in London.
