Rajniraja Arockiasamy (40),a die hard Rajanikanth fan attempted suicide by consuming excessive sleeping pills.Mr Samy wanted to donate his kidney to the superstar as he believed that the actor was about to undergo a kidney replacement surgery in Singapore. He was found unconscious by his relatives and was rushed to the hospital.

Later he told the doctors that he wanted to donate his kidneys to the actor. Meanwhile, the superstar's son-in-law, Dhanush pleaded the fans not to believe in rumors. “He has not undergone a kidney transplant. Soon there will be a statement from the Superstar himself,” Dhanush said.
