Kollywood flick Mambattiyan will hit the screens on August 15. The flick as ace actors Prasanth and Meera Jasmine in lead roles. The flick is a remake of Thyagarajan starrer Mayalur Mambattiyan. Another highlight of the flick are the songs crooned by STR.

"Prashanth had worked tirelessly for the film. He took painstaking efforts to ensure that all is well as far as Mambattiyan is concerned. Since he was already an expert at martial arts, it helped him a lot while shooting the film," said sources. Sources also report that Prashanth will decide on his next project only after this flick.
