Ace kollywood star Vijay has decided to team up with Kollywood director Murugadoss for his next flick.The actor will start off with the project as soon as he completes his ongoing projects, Velyudham and Nanban. Sources close to the team said that efforts are on to rope in Deepika Padukone as the female lead.

There are high hopes that the actress will agree to the role, especially when she has opened her account in Kollywood through superstar's flick, Rana. The director and team is yet to approach the actress with the offer."The Vijay-Murugadoss combo will start their new venture by the end of this year.", said  close sources.
