The Chief Operating Officer of Sun Pictures, W Hansraj Saxena was arrested under charges of cheating and criminal intimidation by the K K Nagar Police.

He has filed an appeal for bail with the Madras High Court. The COO was arrested following a complaint from T Selvaraj of Kandan Films in Salem. He was found guilty under 428 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code. Meanwhile three other associates of Sun Pictures who were arrested along with him were granted anticipatory bail by Justice Rajasuriya.
