Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi spoke to Superstar Rajanikanth over phone and enquired about his well being. Karunandihi said that it was he was happy to know that the superstar is back home all healthy and fresh after undergoing treatment in Singapore.

Rajani on his part  enquired about the well being of the former CM and his daughter Kanimozhi who is under arrest in a the spectrum scam case. In a press release by the DMK headquarters Anna Arivalayam, Karunanidhi enquired about the treatment undergone by the supserstar and about his general well being. Karunanidhi was one of the early visitors when the superstar was admitted in a private hospital in Chennai last month.
