The Kollywood producers council and distributors federation are looking upon Tamil Nadu Chief Minister to solve the problem faced by them when a select group of theatre owners fix their own hugh rates for tickets. "Small budget producers and directors are affected a lot as a result.

The government should step in and ensure that reasonable rates were collected in theatres all over the State. We are hopeful that the Chief Minister is aware of all our problems and would find a solution soon," , said the spokesperson for both the associations.
