The Central Bureau of Investigation will now look into the cases registered against Sun Pictures former Chief Operating Officer Hasnraj Saxena. Though few producers had withdrawn the complaints filed by them the rest of the cases were pending before the Magistrate court.

The decision to transfer these cases for detailed CBCID inquiry came on Wednesday. The court decided to transfer the case to one central authority as they would be in a better position to handle all the cases. Saxena was arrested at the Chennai airport exactly a month ago (July 3). Nearly six of them had withdrawn their cases, after 'settlement' was reportedly made out of the court.
