Popular actress Ramya Nambeesan will now be known as a singer too. The actress who is also a trained carnatic singer got the opportunity out of the blue when music composer Sarath asked her to croon for a flick in which she appears in a guest role.

"I am playing a guest role in a film titled Ivan Megharoopan, directed by P Balachandran. One day, Sharath asked me all of a sudden to sing for the film. Since it is a friendly offer, I immediately said yes," , the actress said. Ramya has sung in few popular devotional cd's and albums.
