Kollywood actor Karthi will don the role of a hardcore politican in his upcoming flick Saguni. This will be the first time that the actor would be going on such a serious note. However the actor said that things in the story ahev been presented in an entertaining way such that even audience with no interest in politics like the flick.

 

"I think my responsibility to come out with watchable movies has increased these days. Whenever I am in a public place, I find a number of children coming to me and exchanging pleasantries. So I am selecting stories which will be enjoyed by kids as well. Saguni is the story of an innocent youngster who comes to the city from a village. How his life changes after that is the crux.", said Karthi. Santhanam will play the supporting actor in the flick. Karthi said that his performance in aguni has been smashing and that their alliance continues since Siruthai. Saguni is directed by Sahnakr Dayal and has Udhayan fame Praneetha doning the female lead.
