The Tamil Film Producer's Council President S A Chandrasekhar and other office bearers met the Chennai City Police Commissioner and submitted a complaint regarding corruption that is getting rampant within the organization. SAC and team requested the Police Commissioner to enquire into the misappropriations made by the previous core committee of TFPC.

The current committee had conducted a preliminary round of evidence gathering in relation to the corruption that was allegedly progressing within the organization. SAC has alleged that nearly 2 crore rupees have been misappropriated by the previous members. Ex-TFPC President Ramanarayanan, Sivasakthi Pandian and KS Sreenivasan, both former secretaries of the council as well as the previous vice-presidents have been named in the complaint.
