Kollywood actress Priya Anand will be the next kollywood actress to move to bollywood. She will don the female lead in a flick that will be directed by Balki on Paa fame. The flick will be based on United States and centers around the life of Indian people in America. Priya will don the role of an Indian girl who moves to US. Priya kick started her career in kollywood through the flick Vaamanan which had Jai in rge lead.

Her latest flick was Nootrenbadhu which had Siddharth in the lead. "Since the story is set in the backdrop of the United States and it mainly revolves around an Indian girl who is the US now, Balki felt that Priya's profile fits well to the character. Hence he has decided to cast her in the film. Priya will be having a meaty role in this film to play. Since Balki is a name to reckon with in quality films and he had worked with none other than the Big B himself, the actress feels that her maiden venture in Hindi would bring her name and fame,", said sources close to the actress.
