Kollywood flick Velayudham was received by Vijay fans with much celebrations. With Vijay fans crowding in to perform Paal abhishekams and other pooja's the police had a tough time controlling the crowd. "We were waiting for such a mass entertainer from the Ilaya Thalapathi and he has fulfilled our wishes. Velayudham is a cracker this Deepavali and we enjoyed each and every scene. We would like to thank director Jayam M Raja for giving us such a grand treat,", said Vijay fans association members. Elaborate welcome arrangements were prepared by Vijay fan clubs and Makkal Iyakkam members.
