Ace kollywood actress Richa Gangopadhyaya who has become the favourite of kollywood audience through Mayakkam Enna had opted out of a Bollywood project. She opted out of 'Shortcut Romeo', the Bollywood remake of 'Thiruttu Payale' which was all set to be her Bollywood debut.

The actress could not find enough dates to commit to the team. Sonia Aggarwal had starred in the tamil version of the flick. Director Susiganesan wanted 45 days of Richa's dates at a stretch. She had already signed in few tamil and telugu projects and hence could not fit in the b-wood project. The actress however thanked the team for considering her and expressed that she will soon work with Susiganesan.
