The Tamil Nadu Theatre Owner Association is also set to extend full support to the state government over its legal fight with Kerala on the Mullaperiyar dam issue.

 

The theatre owners will cancel all shows in cinema halls across the state for a day. A meeting has been convened later today to take a formal decision on the issue. "Most likely, there will be no shows across Tamil Nadu on December 16," , said close sources. The theatre owners will take up the issue for discussion at the theatre owners' meeting today, including removing a ban on films, whose telecast rights are acquired by Sun TV.
