'Thenisai Thendral' Deva and veteran singer LR Eswari were recently lauded for their significant contribution to the Tamil film music. The Muscat Tamil Sangham honoured both musicians and awarded them with the Lifetime Achievement Award.  

 

Deva has won the Tamil Nadu state award for the best music director thrice and L.R. Eswari has won the Kalaimamani award. The Muscat Tamil Sangam program was attended by expert singers from the South Indian film industry. It was a treat for the guests who were present during the event. Karthick, Suchitra, Saindhavi and other performed at the function. The event was also attended by Janakiraman and Basheer Mohammad .
