The kollywood Thetare owners had few days back decided that the TN theatres will remian clsed on December 15 for expressing their solidarity with the state in the Mullaperiyr issue.

But now there are mixed reactions on the same. President of the Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners' Association, Mr. Paneerselvan, has revealed that theatres will remain closed on December 15. However Abirami Ramanathan of Tamil Nadu Thiraiaranga Urimaialargal Sammelan has maintained that theatres have never remained politically inclined so far and that they have not issued any statement that the theatres will remain closed on December 15. There is yet no final decision from the part of the Thetare owner's association.
