Actress Vijayalakshmi who played the lead in 'Anjathey' will don the role of a CBI officer in the flick 'Rendavathu Padam'. "I am doing a CBI officer in this film. I do a lot of homework these days for this different character. My close friend's mum works with the Central Bureau of Investigation. I am in touch with her and I'm meeting her in regular intervals to get myself familiarize with the role." the actress said. Vijayalakshmi will don the role of wife of forest brigand Veerappan in another upcoming flick titled 'Vana Yudham'. While 'Rendavadhu Padam is the second of film of C S Amudhan of 'Thamizh Padam' fame, 'Vana Yudhdham' is directed by A M R Ramesh, the Sandalwood director who is popular for movies like 'Kuppi' and 'Kaavalar Kudiyiruppu'.
