Ace kollywood actor Karthi Sivakumar has starred in a short film to create awareness on cyber criminals, especially those from Nigeria who cheat people after luring them that huge amount would be deposited in their accounts. The five minutes clip will be screened in regular intervals at the Tourism & Trade Fair which is currently taking place at Island Grounds in Chennai. The movie will have cyber experts and police officials warning people against such frauds. At the end of the film, Karthi will appear on screen and caution netizens to be aware of tricksters, who lay a trap by sending an e-mail that the receiver had been selected for bumper prize at an online lottery scheme and he/she has to deposit an initial payment to get the lump sum amount.
