The audio launch of 'Snehithudu', the telugu remake of Nanban, was held as a grabd star-studded affair in the presence of several B-town celebrities. Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Shankar, Harris Jayaraj and Ileana were some of the big shots who attended the show.

The audio release was attended by Ram Charan, Dil Raju, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sharman Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, SJ Suryah and others. The first audio CD was released by Ram Charan who handed it over to Vidhu Vinod Chopra.  Shankar said that he had watched '3 Idiots' while shooting 'Enthiran' in Pune.  It did not take long for this top-class director to get immersed in the film and laugh and cry with the characters. This made him think about a telugu and tamil remake of the movie.
