Ace actor Jai has been signed into a film that will be produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon. He will be cast opposite Abinaya of the Nadodigal fame. This will be a soft romantic entertainer and will be directed by Prabhu Deva's former assistant Prem Sai. Santhanam will provide comic relief in the flick. A test shot was held recently by a leading photographer in the city and the makers are reportedly pleased with the duo for they make a convincing on screen pair. Abhinaya will be seen as a sales girl in a textile shop. The script is yet in the workshop.
