Ace actor Manoj Bajpayee will step into kollywood through the flick Samran. Aravind Swamy was initially rumoured to play this role and when news got out the actor expressed he wasn't approached and that he didn't want to sign films, the director dropped his plans of approaching him. Prakash Raj was roped in but he had to opt out of the film due to few 'unavoidable reasons'."It was at this point of time the director felt that Manoj Bajpayee would fit well to the role. When we approached him with little hesitation, the actor agreed to accept the offer, impressed by the script and his character in it," sources said.
